FORMECO Solvent Recovery units are distillers which allow the recycling and the re-use of degreasing and washing solvents. Through a simple distillation process, they separate the contaminants (resins, polymers, pigments, paints, oils, etc.) from the original solvent. The evaporation of the solvent is accomplished by distillation.

The vapors are then convoyed to a condenser cooled by air or water. The condensed solvent is collected in a tank, for its reuse.

The contaminants remain as a residue which is recuperated inside a disposable bag named "Rec-Bag" or by tilting the unit itself. The distilled solvent characteristics are not altered by the distillation process, which means they can undergo the recycling process repeatedly.

FORMECO Fractional distillation columns allow us to separate solvents which differ in their boiling point and to reach an almost total separation of solvents from liquid pollutants. The fractional distillation process makes it possible to obtain a sufficiently pure liquid for its integral reuse in its original processes.

The system operates in a continuous round-the-clock cycle and is equipped with an automatic loading system for treated products and with an automatic distillate and process fluid discharge.
A programmable microprocessor electronic board with three sequential function buttons provides process control. The board features a display of operational phases and process temperatures.
The fact that the plant is positioned on a metal skid makes it easy for the user to install.

FORMECO Water Evaporators has solved the problem of the waste water disposal by designing a range of apparatus which guarantee an efficient and economic system for every industry involved in this event.

The technology is based on waste water low heat evaporation. The distilled water is reused in the production line whereas the remaining contaminant, now very concentrated, can be disposed off at relatively low cost.

A strong point of this technology is the low running cost of its application. The vacuum distillation, combined with the heat pump technology, enables us to separate the water from the polluting products at low energy.

The range of FORMECO units equipped with heat pump includes models which can treat from 240 up to 3.500 litres per day. Personalized units, which exploit other sources of energy (steam, hot water or diathermic fluids) can be designed for higher capacities.

FORMECO evaporators are self-governing and they can work for 24 hours a day without any human intervention. They are manufactured from different materials and equipped to satisfy any specific request.

FORMECO units can be utilised in different fields: purification and concentration of waste water, recovery of food additives from different industrial process liquids, recovery of metals from washing processes, concentration of must, treatment of percolation water, etc.
